Centenary highlights
100 years, one weekend
The Centenary Alumni Weekend on Friday 3 to Sunday 5 July 2009 was the highlight of the 2009 celebrations. There was a packed programme of events, including lectures from internationally renowned speakers; picnics and parties; and a concert and firework display in the grounds of Clifton College.

Centenary celebrations worldwide
After the Centenary weekend the celebrations continued worldwide. The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Eric Thomas (Hon LLD 2004), together with a team of University colleagues, embarked on an international tour to include twelve events in nine countries on four continents.
