Alumni in and around Tokyo are warmly invited to a drinks and networking get-together with University of Bristol Pro Vice-Chancellor (International) Dr Erik Lithander.

Dr Lithander joined the University of Bristol in the role of Pro Vice-Chancellor (International and Student Recruitment) in February 2016. Prior to joining the University of Bristol, he spent three years as Pro Vice-Chancellor (International and Outreach) at the Australian National University in Canberra, and six years as Director of International Affairs at University College Dublin, Ireland’s largest university. He has also held the role of Associate Director (International Relations) at the University of Auckland in New Zealand.

Dr Lithander looks forward to meeting alumni on the night and will be able to share exciting updates about the University of Bristol. He is visiting Tokyo as part of the Universities UK International delegation and will be well placed to speak about your University and its international context.

Welcome drinks and snacks will be available from 7 pm with Dr Lithander’s talk starting at around 7:30 pm.

The evening is being kindly coordinated by Tokyo based alumni Ian Thomas Ash (MA 2005) and Emi Ashikaga (BSc 2008, PhD 2013), and is the perfect opportunity to meet fellow alumni in the city.

Cost The event is free to attend. Your drink on arrival will be covered by the University.
