The Music of Tudor England

Guests enjoyed an evening of intimate Tudor music in the elegant surroundings of Clifton Hill House. The programme of vocal repertoire included both sacred music by Tallis and Byrd, and secular pieces by Morley and Gibbons. The ensemble performing was a group of seven musicians consisting of current students and alumni and the President of the University of Bristol Union.
