Dr. Wales completed his undergraduate MEng at the University of Bristol, graduating in 2006. He then stayed at the University of Bristol to do his PhD in continuation methods for 2D compressible viscous aerodynamic simulations and was awarded his doctorate in 2011. He is currently working as research associate as part of the FP7 FFAST project.
Currently investigating using Reduced Order Models to increase the efficiency and accuracy of the dynamic aeoelastic “loads process”.
