Prize won for oral presentation at the International Children's Continence Society.

Carol Joinson attended the International Children's Continence Society Annual Conference in Rome in September.
Carol presented her work on continence issues in children and young people.This included her recent MRC funded research into the epidemiology of continence problems, developing a prototype smartphone app for young people with urinary incontinence, and improving support for young people with continence problems at secondary school. She was awarded a prize for best long oral presentation for her paper entitled "Trajectories of childhood urinary incontinence and their association with lower urinary tract symptoms in young women from a UK cohort".
