Our former President, Jyoti, is an active member (OK, her Dad is the President).

A great charity to donate to, particularly in the event of a world disaster.
Dr. Hadwen Trust
The Dr. Hadwen Trust promotes and funds research into alternatives to animal testing. Not just purely emotive, there is a scientific basis to their goals and the way they are presented on the website.

The British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection are dedicated to just that. They have factsheets that explain this often confusing matter. Europeans For Medical Progress
This group is fascinating. They are absolutely against animal testing, but not so much on ethical grounds, but purely scientific grounds. This group work a lot with the government and politics. Their information and statistics are great and have the capability of convincing scientific minded people. It is refreshing to read their reasons for being anti-vivisection, as they reach out even to non vegetarians and those not concerned with animal rights or other ethical concerns.
